Job Summary:
The CDJR Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment while delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles
- Use OEM diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer procedures to identify issues accurately
- Conduct routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
- Repair or replace engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, and braking components
- Complete multi-point inspections and document findings clearly
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer quality standards
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Stay current with Stellantis training and certification requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical school or automotive certification preferred)
- Previous experience as an automotive technician (CDJR experience a plus)
- Stellantis certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with scan tools and modern vehicle systems (electrical, computer-controlled components)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
