Every new Jeep Wrangler 4xe is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, a pair of electric motors and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The total output is 375 horsepower plus 470 pound-feet of torque and it takes about 5.6 seconds to drive from zero to 60 mph. Operating exclusively with the electric motors and the 17.3-kilowatt battery, the Jeep Wrangler is limited to 21 miles before it needs a recharge but the combined range is about 370 miles when you have ideal weather conditions.
Charging the Jeep Wrangler 4xe requires an Osawatomie, KS driver to take about two hours at a maximum rate of 72 kilowatts or a total of 12 hours if you use a standard 120-volt charger. The maximum towing capacity in the Wrangler 4xe is 3,500 pounds. Take advantage of our new vehicle promotions to get special savings on select Jeep models like the Wrangler 4xe.
The hybrid powertrain provides less interior space than the gas-powered Jeep Wrangler, giving you 67 cubic feet compared with 72 cubic feet in the gasoline-powered Wrangler. Because of the battery, the rear seats can't be folded flush with the floor but Overland Park, KS owners will have a commanding view of the road, just like the gas-powered Wrangler, and the 4xe is as easy to maneuver as the gas-driven model.
You can remove the top and the doors in a Jeep Wrangler 4xe, just like you can with the gasoline version of Jeep Wrangler. As the driver, you'll be seated in front of an upright windshield and you'll have a narrow squared-off dashboard with round air vents.
